We are proud to share that on January 14th, we successfully hosted a live demonstration of the latest 150t Active Heave Compensated (AHC) subsea crane at the Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. yard in Poland.
Among the international attendees were senior leaders from major Norwegian offshore service providers such as Reach Subsea and Eidesvik Offshore, whose partnership with Techano Oceanlift includes the development of next-generation construction support vessels (CSVs & IMRs). These new vessels will feature the very crane demonstrated during the event.
Why this matters for the offshore industry:
The 150t AHC subsea crane is purpose-built for high-uptime, mission-critical operations in demanding environments. Its engineering provides the versatility required for modern offshore construction and subsea installation projects:
- Dual-Winch Precision: Equipped with a 150t main winch (3,200m wire) and a 20t aux winch, both featuring advanced AHC to neutralize vessel motion.
- Extended Reach: Designed for versatility, offering 150t SWL at 12m and 30t at a 35m outreach.
- Smart Operations: Powered by the «Phoenix» control system and Intellilift technology for maximum safety and redundancy.
A collaborative effort
This event wasn’t just about the hardware; it was about the dialogue. We value the honest, technical feedback from our clients regarding maintenance accessibility and operational performance. It confirms that we are building the right tools for the demanding environments of the future.
As our Director of Projects, Thor Erik Sunde, noted: “The positive feedback confirms that Techano Oceanlift is positioning itself firmly in the high-end segment of the market.”
“This event is a significant milestone for our company and the maritime industry,” said Øystein Bondevik, Business Development at Techano Oceanlift AS.
A sincere thank you to Remontowa River Shipyard for co-hosting this «Demo Day & Dinner» and to all our partners for their continued trust.
We are ready for the next chapter of offshore lifting.
